Up for sale is a very special 2007 Gibson Les Paul Limited Edition First Run in the striking Blue Silverburst finish. This is number 397 of the limited 5,000 first-run batch.
This guitar has been "de-roboted." The original, notoriously finicky automatic tuning system has been completely removed and replaced with modern upgrades to make this an absolute gigging workhorse. It plays better, sounds infinitely better, and stays in tune perfectly.
The Upgrades: Pickups: Bare Knuckle Pickups
Wiring: ObsidianWire Harness. It features push-pull pots allowing for dual coil-splitting, giving you massive tonal versatility from thick humbucker growls to single-coil snap.
Tuners: Gotoh Locking Tuners.
Condition Notes: This is a player-grade guitar that has been loved and gigged. There are a few minor dings around the body, and it exhibits some natural finish checking in the nitrocellulose (please see the close-up photos). There are no breaks, cracks, or structural repairs - purely cosmetic play-wear.
