Vintage Jackson Custom Shop Soloist in Platinum Pearl finish made in 1985 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid poplar body, maple neck-thru and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound, color matched headstock w/ blue Jackson logo. Equipped with a set of three active EMG SA single coils in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 bass pot, 1 treble pot and three individual pickup on/off switches. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl sharkfin inlays and black side markers with 24 jumbo frets on a 16" radius with a speed profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Schaller sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a graphite nut w/ Kahler Stringlock, a Kahler Tremolo bridge and gold knurled dome knobs.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. There are light surface marks and small dings throughout. The finish has aged unevenly and is more of a faint buttery yellow in some spots. There is a finish chip on the tip of the headstock. There is a small finish split under the low E tuning machine. There are two small finish chips on the treble side of the neck near the 7th fret. The gold plating on most of the hardware has wear/oxidization and there is some light patina on the pickup switches. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Hard Shell Case.
