Korean made Epiphone guitars from the 1990's are held in exceptionally high regard, and are exceptionally made instruments for the money. Manufactured in the Samick factory in Korea, the semi hollow body is constructed from 3 ply Maple laminate and finishes in vintage aged white finish. The humbucker pickups have a typically warm and balanced sound, while the neck has a slim feel and is easy to get around, much like the later '60s Epiphone neck profiles. The Sheraton was the most deluxe model offered by Epiphone at the time, and as such features many deluxe finishing touches, such as all gold hardware and pearl & abalone 'tree of life' headstock inlay.

This guitar is in good condition for the age with some wear and tear. The most notable spots are the paint finish cracking at the neck joint. It is stable and just appears to be finish wear from temperature changes. There is also a ding on the bottom side of the neck. Its been smoothed out and isn't that noticeable while playing. One other ding on the bottom back edge as well. All of these things I would consider fairly normal for a guitar thats over 30 years old and the price reflects. Freshly setup and plays great. Low action. Some fretwear in the first few frets but it plays great as is. Electronics all working. Some very light scratchiness in the tone pots but not bad at all. Nut appears to have been replaced at some point as well.
