I paid for this Besson Sovereign to be imported directly from Bennett & Son Brass LTD in England with the intention of learning to play. Life happens and those plans have changed.

This is a 3 valve compensating Besson Sovereign Boosey & Hawkes baritone. According to the serial number it was built sometime in the early 1980s. Of course, there are blemishes, but they do not affect the quality brass sound that comes out. I have truly enjoyed playing this horn and hope to rehome it to a deserving musician.

I am including a Bach small shank 5G trombone as well as a Denis Wick London 6BS mouthpiece.

The tone on this horn is very nice. I have been playing around with finding THE horn for the last 3-4 years and this one has the best tonal quality.

This is an accurate and detailed description of this instrument. The photos show the blemishes the horn has. Photos don't lie.

If you are looking to join a British Brass band or just want to enjoy playing a fine brass instrument this horn will be a great choice for you.
