Martin OM-28 Marquis 2006 - Natural

With nearly no play wear, fret wear, or finish wear, this 2006 OM-28 Marquis is as good as it gets. This guitar features an Adirondack red spruce top with golden-era style scalloped 1/4” Adirondack spruce bracing, pre-war style 28 appointments, aged nitrocellulose lacquer finish, gorgeous rosewood back and sides, a comfortable modified V neck carve, 1-3/4” nut, 25.4” scale, and a string spread at the bridge of 2-5/16”. This 2006 model also has a fossilized ivory nut, saddle, bridge pins and end pin. Martin no longer offers fossilized ivory on their guitars.

Being 20 years old, this guitar‘s wood and tone have aged beautifully. The guitar does everything that a high-end, modern OM-28 needs to do and with soul. It’s a robust instrument with depth, an open and warm mid-range, and very full, round trebles.
