Up for sale is a legendary Paul Cochrane Tim V2 transparent overdrive, purchased new in March 2010.

While the Timmy is world-famous, the original "Big Box" Tim is the holy grail for many players. It offers the same incredible transparency and touch sensitivity as the Timmy, but with a dedicated boost channel and a rear-mounted effects loop. In the UK, these large-format units are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Key Features:

• V2 Era: Features the classic cursive "Tim" logo and the toggle switch on the front face (rather than the internal DIP switches found on some earlier models).

• The Boost: A completely independent boost section with its own Gain and Tone controls (located on the back panel) to push your lead lines or add a second stage of grit.

• Integrated FX Loop: The Send/Return loop on the back allows you to engage other pedals (like an EQ or Delay) only when the Boost side of the Tim is active—perfect for "instant solo" switching.  

• EQ Design: Uses Paul's famous "cut" style EQ. Turning the Bass and Treble knobs clockwise removes those frequencies, allowing for surgical precision without adding noise or "masking" your amp's natural tone.  

Condition:

This pedal has been a reliable part of my setup since 2010. It is in Good condition. There is some minor "mojo" (light scuffs and finish wear) on the edges and bottom as shown in the photos, but it is 100% original and functions perfectly.
