Black Tie Affair lately.. any need for a Tuxedo? Then step on up boys and girls.. I’ve got the PERFECT bass for the occasion!!

This 1973 Jazz is outfitted in what I’d like to call Tuxedo Trim. The finish is (was) Olympic White that has yellowed to brilliant Ivoy’ish Yellow Next to a Black pickguard, Black binding and Balck block inlays.. Oh such an elegant and high end concept from birth that has kept the vibe over the years that has worn and aged so perfectly it’s almost painful… almost! lol.

It obviously has been played and appreciated often as it should’ve been. This honest and natural play wear is the type Custom Shop and Master Builts dream to attain!! The color under the guard shows how drastic the Oly White has aged over the years.. looks sooooo sweeeeet if you ask me.
Date is there but darn near illegible, I can make out either JA Or Possibky AU for the first few letters of the month but that’s about it. Maybe in the sun with a loop or magnifying glass you can determine. original CTS pots are 73 and serial number jives.. pickups.. This neck and body were born together and this bass is in all original condition. No thumbrest or covers, but a rough late 60’s Fender hardshell is included.
Frets are decent, lots of life and no need for a file in the near future. Action is amazing and easy, bass plays itself and has resonance ALL OVER… from head to bout… this one RINGS TRUE!

Weighs in at an evenly distributed 9.2 lbs and hangs over the shoulder well. This bass has been played throughout its life often and that’s because it’s hard as F to put it down… can’t you tell? Don’t you want your turn??? Ha… thought so, let’s get it done folks!
