AZ24S2 Features:

Roasted Maple neck

• The Roasted Maple neck is heat-treated to increase stability, durability, moisture resistance and tolerance of temperature changes.

Jatoba fretboard

• Jatoba has a reddish brown color and produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.

Jumbo Stainless Steel frets

• Stainless steel frets boast excellent corrosion resistance. The wide and tall fret-type offers a quick response and effortless articulation when playing chords and clear tone when playing single notes.

Locking machine heads

• Locking machine heads ensure accurate and stable tuning.

Alder body

• The Alder body delivers a well-balanced bright tone, enriched resonance and sustain.

Ibanez Modern Custom pickups

• Ibanez Modern Custom pickups feature a dual humbucker configuration with alnico V magnets. They offer powerful tone and a quick response, which pair especially well with overdrive and distortion.

T106 tremolo

• The T106 tremolo bridge with 6 independent saddles makes precise height and intonation adjustment of each string easy.

dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch

• The dyna-MIX 10 offers ten sound variations and can easily switch from humbucker and single coil modes with the mini switch. The power Tap mode provides a realistic single coil sound despite its two humbucker pickup layout.

Super All Access Neck Joint

• The Super All Access Neck Joint increases playability and allows for easy access to the higher frets.
