Absolutely gorgeous Fender Rosewood Telecaster Japan MIJ. This model dates to 1985-86 by the serial number stamped on the bridge plate. This TL69 is a reissue of the guitar made famous by George Harrison in the Beatles rooftop concert from the 1970 film Let It Be. The guitar features the distinctive rosewood top/back over a thin maple center. The neck is also solid rosewood with a 7.25" radius fretboard. I bought this guitar used decades ago and since I've had it, it has barely been outside of its case, sparingly used only in my home studio. Cosmetically, the guitar is extremely clean. No dings, digs, or major scratches to report. Neck is very smooth, clean, and wonderful to play. All electronics function as they should. There is some build-up on the bridge plate (see photos), but nothing horrible for a 30 to 40 year old guitar. It is a little on the heavy side, but a joy to play nevertheless. Nice glossy finish. This particular guitar weighs in at 8 lbs 15.6 ozs. Made at the Fujigen factory. Comes with a hardshell case in very good condition (see pics). Case is from the late 1970s or early 80s and has a nice plush brown interior, accentuating the guitars natural beauty.
