Fully restored 1978 ARP Odyssey 2823. This is the cleanest original condition vintage synth I have ever come across. This underwent a painstaking restoration, ensuring the instrument is like new and future proofed.

The power supply and all analog boards were fully recapped with Nichicon long life 105C capacitors, alleviating the notorious tantalum caps from shorting out. All 34 CTS sliders were removed, completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, contacts polished, greased, and reassembled. This took countless hours but they feel brand new, and are much better quality and have a better feel than the reproduction Chinese made aftermarket sliders offered.

The 4075 filter was removed, recapped, and modified to correct the ARP design error in cutoff frequency. This gives the synth a higher cutoff frequency which leads to more bite and clarity when opened up.

All 37 keys were removed, degreased, and hand polished. The keybed assembly has all new bushings. All of the bus bars and jwires were polished, ensuring proper keyboard performance for years to come.

The synth was fully calibrated and burned in over several periods. It stays perfectly in tune and tracks excellent across the full range in every octave.
