RARE Vintage C.G. Conn EEb Contrabass Sarrusophone *Completely Overhauled*

Hello! You are looking at a RARE Vintage C.G. Conn EEb Contrabass Sarrusophone completely overhauled! If you've ever wished to own such an amazing instrument, then this is your chance. This Sarrusophone was just completely overhauled by one of New York's finest repair technicians, Bill Bowling. The horn was fully disassembled, then submerged in a cleaning bath. Any dents were removed, all pads and corks were replaced, all springs were tightened, all keys were installed back on the horn, the entire horn was regulated for action, key height and a tight fit. The horn plays incredibly well as you can see in the video. It plays down to the lowest notes effortlessly producing an almost haunting sound. What makes the Conn the most desirable of Sarrusophones is a combination of things. Firstly the fingering is almost identical to a saxophone making it easier to play. The Conn also features rolled tone holes that adds to the sound, quality and construction of the horn. The intonation is dead on throughout all registers. The sound is amazing is can shake the plaster off the walls. It's rich, clear and super full! The horn plays easily with a smooth action on all the keys.
