1971 Marshall JMP 1987 Lead 50 Watt Big Box Head
Amp Sounds great. Circuit is mostly original components except for filter caps. Bright Channel volume pot and knob have been replaced and original bright cap and V2 .68 uF cap have been replaced. Original OT and I think PT though could be replaced very shortly after manufactured.
The power transformer is a laydown that has been connected as an upright. I believe it is a 1202-118 mounted in the original bell housing of 1202-164. The bell housings appear original and it’s giving the correct voltage 450V at 16mA per tube and 436V at 32mA so it is not a later year replacement which had the lower voltage. I have been playing this amp and have never noticed it until recently. Does not appear to be any issues and was recently serviced. it will come shipped in a custom made hard road case. There is no back panel.
The tubes shown will not be included. I will install some EH tubes I have instead of what is shown in pics
Let me know if you have questions. No returns. shipped ups insured.
