Vintage 1967 Gibson B-45-12 Twelve String Acoustic Guitar Project!

Up for sale is this vintage 1967 Gibson B-45-12 project. This instrument will require parts and work to be playable so please be sure to read the entire description and see all of the photos. It is offer "AS IS" and "AS FOUND".

This one is rough and it's best to just assume that it will need everything. The top is wavy (these always have bracing issues), there's a few pretty bad top cracks, the pickguard and tailpiece are missing, and there is some tear out around the tuner holes on the headstock. The original Kluson tuners are present but some of the keys have a decent amount of play in them and the screws are mix and matched. The original finish shows heavy wear including checking and numerous large dings, scratches, and scuffs. There are extra holes were several tailpieces have been installed over the years. The truss rod does function and, as it sits with no tension on it, the neck is straight. We do not know how it will react when under tension.

No case or gig bag is included, but it will be well-packed to ensure safe shipping. These projects never last long when we list them and this one should be a lot of fun for someone who wants to try their hand at heavier-handed repairs. Again, sold "AS IS"...
