Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1963 ES-335 VOS

This ES-335 boasts a refined look characteristic of the block inlay era. The slender horn and short pickguard contribute to its appealingly refined appearance, typical of early 1960s ES-335s.

This instrument features all the essential elements of a '63 specification, including small block inlays, an ABR-1 bridge, a lightweight aluminum tailpiece, and two-knob Kluson tuners. The presence of a Bumblebee capacitor further enhances its historical appeal, both externally and electronically.

It possesses a rich, full low-mid range typical of hollow-body guitars, yet maintains a clear and well-defined tone. Currently, both the neck and bridge pickups have been replaced with 2022 Custombuckers, resulting in improved responsiveness and harmonic richness.
