This vintage 4/4 violin is labeled Henri Farny & Cie, Paris, France. I believe it to be made around 1920, possibly in Maricourt, France instead of Paris. It was imported by Wurlitzer. This violin is one of my favorites in my extensive collection. Most of the original finish was retained and I professionally repaired a crack near the end pin and did repair to the peg box. There were no cracks or repairs done to the top or back plate. It is set up with synthetic core strings which give it an amazing sound that projects well. It comes with a foam packed student quality case with bow, rosin and cleaning cloth.
It you are looking for a vintage violin with a wonderful sound, this is the one! If you would like to hear it played, message me your cell number and I'll text a short video.
This violin has been stored in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
