The guitar is in excellent condition and plays great, with low action and a nice light feel at a very light 6.24 lbs. I’d rate it excellent, and I usually underrate condition. The updated photos highlight the glossy finish and also reveal minor flaws that are harder to see in person. In particular, the buckle rash on the back is so fine, you can't see it unless you get a light source right on it. Due to the high‑gloss finish, some reflections may look like cosmetic issues, but they are not. This one is great to look at but hard to photograph.

Up for sale is my 2022 PRS SE Paul's Guitar in the stunning Black Gold Sunburst finish. This is Paul Reed Smith's own personal spec brought to life in the SE line — and it shows. The guitar is in excellent condition with only light play wear consistent with careful use. No cracks, no buckle rash, no fret wear to speak of. Hardware is clean and all electronics function perfectly.
The SE Paul's Guitar is one of the most feature-packed instruments PRS has ever offered at this price tier. The mahogany body with figured maple top delivers that classic PRS blend of warmth, snap, and sustain, while the Wide Fat mahogany neck feels exceptional in hand — comfortable and fast from first fret to last. The 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is dressed with abalone bird inlays, a hallmark of the PRS brand.
Where this guitar truly stands out is the electronics. The TCI "S" treble and bass humbuckers are voiced for vintage clarity, and the two independent mini-toggle coil-split switches give you eight total pickup combinations — from glassy, Strat-like single-coil tones to full humbucker heat and everything in between. This level of switching versatility is unique to Paul's Guitar in the entire SE lineup. The stoptail bridge with brass inserts is the same spec as the Core Paul's Guitar, lending rock-solid tuning stability and resonance.
