Ayotte Custom Wood Hoops 1990's Ray Ayotte Era - African Walnut Satin

Up for grabs is a stunning Ayotte Custom shell pack 10/12/14/20 in excellent condition. These babies are finished in African Walnut Satin with matching inlays in the wood hoops. The bass drum and toms have consecutive serial numbers. These were manufactured during the prime golden era of Ayotte craftsmanship of the 1990's.

These look and sound amazing. I've owned them since 2006 and they've been kept in a smoke-free home. It really hurts to let these go, but I have another Ayotte kit with more pieces that gets more use in my home studio, so these drums need a new home.

All the hoops are in excellent condition. The shells have very minor scratches. They're in the same condition I received them 20 years ago. The toms are equipped with Ayotte butterfly mounting brackets that mount to the tuning lugs, so there are no extra holes for mounting. The tom mounts are compatible with L-rod style mounting. The bass drum is virgin with no mounting bracket or extra holes.

The toms are equipped with Evans G2 batter heads. The 10" and 12" toms are equipped with the original Ayotte stamped Remo Ambassador reso heads. The 14" tom is equipped with an Evans G1 reso head. The bass drum is equipped with an Evans EQ4 batter head and original Ayotte Custom Drums stamped front head.

All shells are North American Maple with reinforcement rings.
