Vintage 1960's Fender Jazz Bass / P-bass Case

This is a very nice early 60's "no logo" White Tolex case correct for your Fender Bass of the same era.  
These white tolex cases were often reserved for custom color Fender guitars, hence making them more desirable and quite a bit more rare than their black tolex counterparts.

This case is in really nice shape for it's age. The GOOD news is that's it's fully original. The original lining is in great shape. The latches function perfectly and still "spring" open. The original case handle is in great shape. The not-so-great news is that the original owner wanted a black case. So black spray paint was applied, fully, to the exterior only. We took a portion of this off the top of the case to reveal the white tolex and will leave the balance of the "sweat equity" left in this project to the new owner. We have heard "goo gone" will take the paint off this with great effectiveness!

All in all, this is one of the nicer old cases we've seen in quite sometime and is a necessary companion to your custom color Fender from the glory days of the PRE-CBS 1960's. Thanks!
