This FT-135 was made between 1973 and 1976. It's nearly impossible to narrow it down much closer than that. It has a blue rectangular interior label stating the business offices as being in Kalamazoo. This guitar was made in Japan by Matsumoku which was contracted by Norlin, the then-parent company of the Gibson and Epiphone brands to re-label some of their Aria models as Epiphones (to provide Norlin entries in the import market that was exploding in the late 60s/early 70s). This was the second wave of these Japanese Epiphones and an improvement over the first wave. The FT-135 has a Grand Auditorium 000-style body, laminated spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and multiple body bindings. The three-piece bolt-on neck features a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. It has chrome tuners in fuly working condition, a black pickguard, and a rosewood bridge with an adjustable saddle.
In very good condition, there are no cracks or dings and the neck block is solid. It comes with a hard shell case and will be shipped in a StewMac shipping system box to assure safe transit.
