The Lotus P Bass is a fantastic cost effective alternative to the Fender P Bass. I buy these often to repair and resell them. This bass is fully rewired with new 500k potentiometers (like original wiring) providing a large sweep of tone and volume. The neck is straight, oiled nicely, and the truss has some room left for tweaking. Frets are about 85%. The pick-guard is a little bowed, but it has no effect on playability, which is seriously killer. These basses are known for lower action than a typical P Bass as well as a neck size that is in between precision and jazz. The low C style neck adds to the ease of play. Personally, I love Lotus P Basses and I own one that is my go to Precision. I don’t need two. But whenever I can, I save these awesome classic basses for others to enjoy as much as I do.
