2001 Made in Mexico Fender Classic Series 70s Stratocaster in Natural Finish. This guitar has been upgraded with a set of Fender Lace Sensor Pickups, the neck and middle pickups are Fender Lace Sensor Golds and the Bridge pickup is a Fender Lace Sensor Blue. The wiring was also modified, the 5 way switch works just as it would stock, selecting pickup positions, as does the volume knob in each position. The tone knob closest to the volume pot is a now wired as a master tone and works as tone in each of the 5 pickup selections. The last tone knob is now not wired and nonfunctional, the pot is just there to hold a knob and fill the hole. I find this wiring to be more user friendly but the pot is there if you'd like to wire it differently. A black Fender Genuine Pickguard was also installed. It fit perfectly and required no additional holes. The original would have been white and the tremolo back plate is still the original white one. You can see a sticker fade and some scratching on it, easily and cheaply swapped out to black if you care. I do not have any of the original parts.

The neck is high gloss finished maple and has some beautiful Birdseye figuring to it. It sports the classic big 70s headstock and bullet truss rod. There is some fret wear present on the first 5 frets, mostly the first 3 but nothing hindering playability and plenty of meat left for future leveling. There are some small dings here and there but overall a very clean neck. The body has some dings/dents on the forearm cut and bottom edge. These are photographed and small in nature, there are some other similar sized dings scattered around but no chipped areas or finish loss. The neck pocket also has a small finish crack, common with these bolt on guitars and strictly in the finish only. Great grain to this ash body and under 7 pounds. Overall a nicely modded strat that presents well at 25 years of age.

Nice Tweed Roadrunner case with red velour interior included. This case is in great shape and an excellent fit for this Strat. In the case pocket is the original keys and tremolo arm.
