Gibson / 2024 ELVIS Dove

"A custom model based on a 1969 Gibson Dove"

The story of this instrument begins with Elvis Presley receiving a 1969 Gibson Dove as a gift from his father, Vernon Presley.

It is believed to have been used in concerts from around 1971 to 1975, and there is documentation of him playing a black-finished Dove at the 1973 "Aloha from Hawaii" concert.

—A black-finished body that stands out against white attire

The square-shouldered body, with a spruce top, is finished in a glossy black color that is as beautiful as a grand piano, and is adorned with white binding and multi-colored celluloid around the body.

-Black Large Pickguard
A 2-piece black large pickguard is used to match the black body.

Fingerboard
The rosewood fingerboard is adorned with a dazzling double parallelogram inlay crafted from mother-of-pearl.

Neck
The mahogany neck has a slim shape and a comfortable grip.

Bridge
The rosewood bridge features a dove-shaped inlay and a short saddle, producing a powerful sound.

Headstock
The large headstock features Gibson's modern logo and a gleaming crown inlay.
The truss rod cover is engraved with "ELVIS".

-Tuning Machine
Equipped with a GROVER 102G tuner.

Supports comfortable tuning.

-There are some scratches and scuffs from playing, but there are no cracks, so you can play with confidence.

[Playing Condition]
-String height at 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side
-Saddle protrusion: Approximately 2.0mm to 3.5mm
-There are no buzzing or dead spots, and the playing condition is good.
