This is one of the best sounding pedals I’ve made. It is not the best looking. In fact, it is rather plain on the outside. Some minor imperfections in the paint job and minor hairline scratches in the finish, too small for the camera to represent. See photos and video demo. That said, it sounds exceptional.
This is a boutique rat-like circuit on protoboard. The controls include a dual pot (one knob) for adjusting the volume/distortion, meaning the louder it gets the more distorted it gets. Sounds weird, I know, but it is awesome! The second control knob is for tone.
