The PRS SE Silver Sky is a refined take on the original Silver Sky platform developed with John Mayer, delivering familiar feel, expressive tone, and modern PRS reliability in a player-focused design.

Built with a poplar body, bolt-on maple neck, and rosewood fretboard, this model offers a balanced tonal response with warmth, clarity, and smooth articulation. The 25.5 inch scale length, 635JM neck carve, and 8.5 inch radius create a comfortable, broken-in feel across the fretboard that feels equally at home for rhythm work, lead playing, and expressive bends.

Equipped with three 635JM “S” single-coil pickups, the SE Silver Sky delivers classic single-coil tones with strong note separation and dynamic response. From glassy cleans to edge-of-breakup textures and more driven sounds, the pickup set maintains clarity and balance across all five pickup positions.

The 5-way blade switch keeps the layout intuitive and versatile, making it easy to access a wide range of usable tones.

Additional features include a 2-point steel tremolo for smooth vibrato, a synthetic bone nut, and vintage-style tuners for stable, reliable performance. The inverted Silver Sky headstock and easy-access truss rod add to the thoughtful, player-friendly design.
