Very good condition 1942 Martin 000-18. No breaks/major repairs. S/N #82119. Very nice and clear tone, while maintaining an almost Gibson like woody quality. Ebony rod. New frets, and all cracks are fully stabilized and not moving. No damage to the neck whatsoever. One tuning peg has been replaced. Bridge has been replaced for a Brazilian rosewood bridge. This example has the usual bumps, bruises, and light scratches you would expect of an instrument of this age. This example also has what looks to be a K&K pickup system installed, which sounds surprisingly good within this guitar. Looks to be a refinish. Huge replacement pickguard obviously, but looks very nice in person and surprisingly does something very cool for this example. The back of this guitar is surprisingly clean, as pictured. Very little buckle rash/play wear etc. Neck profile on this example is very pleasing to play all the way up the neck, and fits the hand well. Comes with a well fitted soft shell case as pictured. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
