This Fender American Vintage II '1966 Jazzmaster in 3-Colour Sunburst is a great example of Fender’s offset design at its most refined, combining classic looks with a distinctive feel and sound. Built with an alder body and a maple neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard, it has a balanced, resonant character with plenty of warmth and clarity.
Fitted with a pair of Pure Vintage ’66 Jazzmaster pickups, it delivers that unmistakable wide, open sound, clear and articulate, with a slightly softer attack compared to a Strat, but plenty of depth and detail. It’s a really expressive guitar that works well across a range of styles.
The mid ‘60s “C” neck profile feels comfortable and familiar, making it an easy guitar to get along with, while the floating tremolo system adds another layer of character to the playing experience.
