You can get three independent sounds: the original sound, one octave lower, and two octaves lower!

This pedal boasts a long-selling history of approximately 20 years since its release in April 1982. The octave sound is a distorted organ tone, and its high responsiveness has earned it the seal of approval from many professionals! While its successor, the OC-3, was finally digitized and became more multi-functional, the unique, thick sound of the analog version is hard to give up. It only supports single notes, and operation is more stable with the front pickup. Humbuckers are more stable than single-coil pickups, and rolling back the guitar's tone control is also effective. The best connection order is closest to the guitar, or after a compressor/limiter.
