1966 Fender Precision Bass in an absolute gorgeous and all original Candy Apple Red! Definitely a contender for one of the cleaner examples of this piece! All original pots and electronics dating to early 66! No solder ever touched! This immaculate and rare instrument has been kept in great shape for the last 65 years! About the last 30 of which was held by the last owner and he really kept his collection in pristine condition! In the late 90’s he purchased this bass from Chris Cambell from Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Band! He used this bass on the 1996 Bob Seger Mystery Tour. Comes with autographed photo of him using the bass on tour and a letter of authenticity signed by him as well referencing the serial number. Besides all the back story this piece is exceptional, all original everything! Including the case! Finish shows a beautiful natural checking and a couple blemishes shown in the photos. Neck shows a little play wear but not to much. These don’t come around often and especially this nice!
