Fender Musicmaster 1964 - Refin Blue

A vintage Musicmaster has arrived.

Made in 1964

This is likely a blue Musicmaster that was refinished over a white body.

It features an A-neck with a narrow nut width, making it easy to play even for those with smaller hands.

The fingerboard is rosewood that fully showcases the characteristics of Brazilian rosewood.

This alone lets you appreciate the elegance of a Fender vintage guitar.

The previous owner had the guitar refretted, the nut replaced, two pots swapped out, and the bridge modified to a Blasco Coma.

The tuning machines have also been replaced, improving the playing condition without compromising the guitar’s appearance.

The pickup is original, with a single pickup in the front position.

It produces a modern midrange sound that blends the unique tone of a vintage instrument with the urban tone produced by the newer parts around the strings.

Additionally, the previous owner used the guitar as a two-pickup setup for a time,

so it comes with a two-pickup pickguard, a Vanzandt pickup, and a slide switch,

allowing you to convert it to a two-pickup configuration for a Duo-Sonic-style modification.

Currently, the neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly, and the frets are nearly intact, so you can enjoy playing it for a while without needing maintenance.
