Great sounding offset from a small UK based guitar maker (they only produce around 360 guitars a year)
The Standard Plus seems to be discontinued, so grab this one while you can. The Obeche body is both light and resonant, but also soft so watch those fingernails (slight marking to the right of bridge near controls - barely visible).
Body: Lightweight Obeche
Neck: Maple (Standard C profile), finished in Nitrocellulose.
Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood, 10" radius, featuring medium Jescar frets fine-tuned with PLEK for flawless playability.
Hardware: Gotoh SD-91 tuners and high-end CTS/Switchcraft
Finish: Rose Red Metallic
Pickups: Parkins Creme P90’s
Only “modification” I made was adding a 1 degree shim to the neck pocket to increase the break angle and solve the typical Jaguar bridge string slippage when bending. Worked like a charm. Strung with brand new heavy bottom D’Addario NYXL 10’s.
Comes with an aftermarket gig bag.
