Here I have mid-1970's Ovation 1111-4 Acoustic Guitar
I buy, repair and resell musical instruments. I generally receive guitars damaged from shipping, factory seconds, store returns, or open box items from my distributors.
I have had this guitar for many years. I had been looking for the 'right' sounding vintage Ovation for some time. I found this one. As you can see from the photos, it has all the classic Ovation cracks to the top. The 'bones' of this guitar are in good order. The play and sound are Ovation from this time. I am doing some spring cleaning in the shop and this one is being listed. As I mentioned, it had been hanging on the wall for over six months with no play. Today the tuning was just a 'tweak'. This guitar is from the New Hartford era of Ovation. Because of the age and condition of this guitar, it is listed as and 'as-described' condition which means there will be no returns.
