Vintage 1968 Rogers Londoner 4 Piece Drum Shell Pack - 12/13/16/20 - Black Strata Pearl

This is a great sounding player's grade set of Rogers shells. They will certainly deserve a little TLC. They will be a great Vintage gigging or studio kit.

Listed are the 4 shells plus their hardware that is in the pictures. Our best information is this is a '68 Rogers Londoner without snare. There are no date stamps on the shells. The drums are all in Black Strata Pearl wrap. Kick is a 14 x 20 s/n 91675, mounted toms are 8 x 12 s/n 88178 and 9 x 13 s/n 90911 and the 16 x 16 Floor tom s/n 88680. Each of the 3 toms have 1 obvious replacement hoop. (12-13-16) I assume the other hoop is original but do not guarantee it. The hoops on the toms are fully functional. All of the lugs and tension rods work as they should. The 12" tom's wrap is scuffed but in pretty good shape. The 13" tom's wrap has some vertical cracking in the wrap, the 16" floor has a lot of horizontal cracking in the wrap. The bass has some smaller cracks also. Please see pictures, I tried to show the worst examples on each drum. Note, the wrap is not loose or coming off the drums, it has just cracked from age. All the tom's bearing edges look to be original and in good working order. The Bass drum has had a couple repairs to the re-rings on the inside but the drum is round and the original hoops are in good shape.

The tom arms will mount the 2 toms but they are very worn. The floor tom legs work fine although they are not perfectly straight.
