For sale is a very rare 1992 Gibson Custom Shop Pre-Historic '57 Les Paul Custom 3-Pickup Black Beauty, complete with a first-generation Gibson chainsaw case. Built prior to the launch of Gibson’s Historic Division in 1993, this limited "Pre-Historic" model represents an important and collectible piece of Gibson Custom Shop history.
This guitar is in very good condition and operates flawlessly. It has been played and shows scratches, dings, finish checking, and wear on the back of the body and neck from a guitar stand. These cosmetic signs of use are consistent with a well-maintained vintage guitar.
