How's it going! You're looking at a 1960s Kay Model K5935 Deluxe 4-String Electric Bass Guitar W/ All Original Parts!

Made in Chicago in the 1960s, this K5935 Deluxe features a painted black finish on a maple body and all of its original parts! The neck is a classic "baseball bat" profile; thick, chunky and fills the palm but the short scale keeps it fast and comfortable to play for long durations. In hand it feels incredibly dense and resonant, providing a level of sustain and stability you just cant get from a semi-hollow bass. The solid maple body paired with the original "Speed Bump" pickup produces a massive focused percussive thump. It has a tighter low-end and a more immediate response than a hollow body, making it perfect for driving a rock or blues band without the risk of unwanted feedback. Visually, the bass has been painted black at some point over the years and has some minor dents and scratches around the body and on the back of the neck (see photos provided above). There are two minor cracks on each cutaway but these cosmetic defects will not affect the basses playability. All of the electronics are in working order and the neck is straight. The intonation is spot on, the action is excellent and there is no major fret wear apparent from previous use. This bass has been professionally set up with new strings and weighs in at 6 pounds, 0 ounces. The bass comes with a gig bag and is ready for its next owner to plug in and start playing!
