This hand-built combo brings 40 watts of dual 6V6-driven magic, deeply inspired by the classic Gibson GA40 circuit but elevated with modern boutique flair. Housed in a stunning two-tone shell with lacquered tweed and dark textured cloth, it’s got that rich Americana styling that turns heads before you even strike a chord. And once you do? Get ready for that juicy, touch-sensitive breakup courtesy of a tube rectified power section anchored by a 5AR4 rectifier and a lone 12AX7 preamp tube. This thing doesn't just sound vintage—it feels vintage.

This amp is simple and effective—just a single volume knob to drive the gain, a Tilt EQ for adjusting bass and treble balance, and two inputs labeled Bright and Dark to suit your tone preference. Crank it up, and it breaks up smoothly with great touch sensitivity. Backing all that up is a USA-made, Buffalo-branded Weber 12A125-O alnico speaker, voiced for warm, classic 1950s tone. The result is an amp that sounds and feels fantastic, whether you're playing blues, rock, or anything in between.

Buffalo Amps are no longer in production. In 2009, the builder, Rob, made the decision to step away from amp making to focus on his family. These amps were made with a lot of care, and they’ve become hard to find. They’ve truly gone the way of the buffalo—beautiful, rare, and full of character.
