Mid 70s Sada Yairi YD-401 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar w/ Hardshell Case
For sale we have an expertly crafted acoustic guitar that was made in Japan by the Sada Yairi company. Drawing their namesake from the legendary luthier, S. Yairi guitars are made to the highest quality. The tone of this guitar is warm and pleasant, with plenty of midrange focus. Strummed chords retain great string seperation, and melodic lines have the sustain of instruments far more expensive than this guitar. The guitar is made from tight grained spruce and very rich looking mahogany, with a rosewood fretboard and bridge.
The guitar is in great shape. The neck is straight and the top is flat, with no bellying or bridge lift. There are, however, a handful of dings and scratches on the top (pictured). There are also some dings and dents on the side of the neck near the 3rd fret.
The guitar has been professionally setup with new strings set to play low and easy. The fretboard has been conditioned, and the frets have been polished. A hardshell case is included for safe storage and transportation.
