MIGUEL ARISTA
At a young age Miguel Arista's father introduced him to the world of manual arts. His Father was his motivator and supporter of musical instrument making. After coming to the states in 1971, Miguel Arista began making flutes with his father and brothers establishing the company Arista Flutes. By 1979 he met British flutist William Bennett with whom he began to enhance his knowledge of flute making, acoustics, and head joint designs.
In 2006 Miguel started his own company, Miguel S. Arista Flutes, in Lincoln, MA. For the past forty-one years he has nearly perfected his unique craftsmanship of head joint and flute making. The detail and hard work Miguel Arista has put into his flutes and head joints is unlike any other and is appreciated and played by countless talented musicians around the world.
SPECIAL SILVER ALLOY
Miguel Arista sources this unique metal through a special supplier. The exact metal composition is confidential, but we cannot deny the result. These headjoints are capable of producing an extremely alluring tone, giving the player a completely new palette of tone colours to explore.
