Beautiful guitar, has one unfortunate blemish on the bout, took a hit at some point. Shown in picture. Otherwise in really good condition. Doesn’t have the typical clouding of the finish you see on a lot of yamaki, just a slight clouding on the headstock. Really nice top, and a nice rosewood board with abalone inlays. Spruce and rosewood body, mahogany neck. Has the cool Daion tuners on this one, made in the transitional years.
Setup perfectly right now. Good action, and very comfortable neck. No issues playing up and down the fretboard. Sound feels higher end on this. Bass is solid and balances well. Probably tending toward bright, with nice overtones. Humming right now, no buzz. Louder than I’ve ever needed it to be.
