As one can see from the "before" pictures, this guitar provided me with quite the challenge. All most everything about the unit needed to be reworked. At least now it is off life support and ready to go to a beginner guitarist as it has low action and should be good for a beginners hands and tender fingertips. I removed an outlandish amount of rust and then sanded down the body and repainted (which is not a skill I have honed in on as of yet) but certainly an improvement. I had to replace the pots and the 5 position switch and the pick guard and pot covers are all new. All in all quite the project but turned out not too badly.
