When it comes to jazz, few musicians have had as much of an impact on the genre as Pat Metheny. And when it comes to jazz guitar specifically, only a handful can be mentioned in the same conversation. Always innovating, Pat has trusted Ibanez since his very first signature guitar model was released, way back in 1996. The PM200 is Pat’s main axe and the guitar he relies on to perform during his relentless touring schedule.

Features include a maple top, back, and sides, African Mahogany set neck, and bound Ebony fretboard. All the ingredients for that classic jazz tonality are here! And speaking of tone, the Silent 58 pickup is warm and full with modest output. Strung up with flat-wound strings, this axe has a low-end thump that’s sure to keep the beat. Crafted in Japan by Ibanez’s finest, The PM200 is made to last a lifetime and beyond.

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, pickup heights to saddle heights, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!
