1978 Fender PJ w 80s active EMG pups (battery in cavity). Currently set up in BEAD tuning w/ DR Hi-Beams, as I get more use out of 4-strings that way. Surprisingly similar tone to my Dingwall NG3 with both pups all the way in. Great to have a regular hi-fi p-bass tone on tap as well. Plays well. Heavy like many 70s Ps, coming in at 11.4 pounds. Definitely contributes to the laser beam tone, so it's killer as a studio sitter.
