The Korg MCR-02 is a 128k-bit RAM memory card designed for storing patches, sequences, and settings for several mid-to-late 1980s Korg synths and drum machines and were manufactured by Mitsubishi Plastics (often under the Bee Card S-RAM brand) in Japan. While the card bears the "KORG" branding, the hardware, particularly the SRAM circuitry, was provided by third-party specialists like Mitsubishi. These RAM cards enable saving user-customized sound banks and drum patterns, preventing data loss when the machine is powered off.
- KORG Synthesizers/Workstations: M1, M1R, DS-8, 707.
- KORG Drum Machines/Percusion Units: DDD-1, DDD-5, DRM-1.
*RAM cards have been tested and will ship with a CR2016 3 V battery but I suggest purchasing a new battery before storing your data.
*The battery clips on all of the cards are intact and working perfectly.
*I have a total of 6 of these MCR-02 RAM cards for sale. (Please see my other listings.)
*I will combine card orders for a reduced shipping rate.
