Up for sale, a 2020 Fender Custom Shop NAMM ‘17 Limited Edition 1956 Stratocaster Roasted Relic in mint condition, complete with the hardshell case and CoA. This 1956 Stratocaster Roasted Relic was produced of the spec of a Limited Edition model crafted for NAMM 2017, boasting a number of unique, vintage-centric features including a nitro lacquer Aged Vintage White finish with Fender’s Relic treatment, a gold anodized aluminum pickguard, a trio of Hand-Wound Fat ‘60s single coil pickups, and a roasted AAA birdseye maple neck with a 10/56 “V” profile carve.
Weighing 7lbs 9oz, this “Roasted Relic” Stratocaster features a roasted alder body alongside the roasted AAA birdseye maple neck, with a 9.5" fretboard radius and 6105 Narrow Tall fretwire.
Fender’s Hand-Wound Custom Shop Fat '60s Strat pickups have an overwound design with added low-end punch for an extra shot of modern attitude. These pickups are outfitted with beveled alnico II magnets, which offer warm lows, rich midrange and mellow highs, capturing the sound of aged pickups from the early '60s for luscious vintage-inspired tones. The middle pickup is also reverse-wound reverse-polarity (RWRP) for superior hum cancellation. This NAMM ‘17 Limited Edition 1956 Stratocaster Roasted Relic has been dialed in here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
