Up for sale is a vintage 1970s Traynor YBA-3 “Custom Special” all-tube amp head, made in Canada and known for its huge headroom, rugged build, and incredible tone.
This is one of the sleeper vintage amps that can hang with (and often rival) amps like the Ampeg SVT—tons of clean power, but also breaks up beautifully when pushed. Works great for bass OR guitar depending on your setup.
Key Features:
- ~130–200 watts of all-tube power (EL34-driven)
- Massive low end with punchy mids and clear highs
- Built like a tank (classic Traynor reliability)
- Point-to-point style construction
- Vintage mojo for days
Condition:
Good working condition. Fully functional with strong output. Shows normal cosmetic wear for its age (see photos). Recently tested and sounds great.
