This Taylor AD27e Shaded Edge Burst is a masterfully crafted, rare Grand Pacific model from Taylor’s premium American Dream series, manufactured in El Cajon, USA. Serving as a bridge between the 200 Series (Mexico) and the American 300 Series, the American Dream Series combines solid tonewoods of the highest quality with sophisticated features and first-class U.S. craftsmanship to deliver a seamless playing experience with unmatched clarity and balance—at an unbeatable price.

Well-known yet entirely new: Andy Powers (Taylor Master Luthier) has reinterpreted the round-shoulder dreadnought body shape and once again demonstrates his masterful skill with the new Grand Pacific body shape, featuring innovative V-Class bracing. A modified Dreadnought shape with rounded edges, a Silent Satin finish, and new specifications that together deliver an entirely new Taylor sound with fantastic playability.

The time-tested combination of sapele for the back and sides and mahogany for the top produces a wonderfully balanced, mid-range tone that is rich in harmonic texture and gives this guitar a wonderfully warm tone. The V-Class Bracing inside ensures fantastic volume with long-lasting sustain. It is a fantastic acoustic guitar that responds superbly not only to classic strumming but especially to flatpicking and fingerpicking!
