Up for grabs we have here for sale is a guitar that you definitely dont see everyday. Now I’m sure a lot of you are familiar with Gibson’s Epiphone line but the 1st year run are completely different animals in comparison to what they have now.
A true open book headstock design, a AAA flame maple top, and no weight relief! What struck me initially was this absolutely drop dead gorgeous top. I haven’t found one quite like it. Highly figured and very close to the more modern Mojave bursts but I’m not too sure what this color was called.
This guitar has been tested and the electronics all work as intended, the truss rod works with no issues, and there is effortless playability with nice low action and no buzzing throughout. Unfortunately I do not have the original pickguard for this but one can be acquired easily.
