Headstrong Corduroy NOS tube set and road case

This is a Headstrong Corduroy serial #29. Its a 20 watt brownface deluxe clone made by the man himself Wayne Jones. Headstrong is a one man operation with an extremely impressive list of artists using them. Paul Simon, Rich Robinson, Walter Becker, Bill Frisell, JD Simo, Jack Ruch... it goes on and on. This amp was bought new by me in 2019. The price to order new directly from Headstrong in 2026 is $3000. It has lived in a custom road case its whole life. It has a celstion v30 in it and sounds fantastic. I have also just re-tubed it with all NOS military spec tubes. In V1 is a triple mica GE jg-6072, V2 is a RCA 12ax7a, V3 the phase inverter is a Sylvania 12at7wa blackplate, the power section are sylvania VT107 6v6' dated 1944 and the Rectier is a GZ34 Mullard Blackburn labeled for RCA. $500 worth of tubes. Will last for thousands of hours. The amp itself is extremely good condition having lived in a road case. I would say like new say for three discolored spots that have shown up on the sides. All I can think of is maybe some sap from the solid wood cabinet, which is period correct for the 1962 brown deluxe. They are shown in the pictures. The Tolex is in great shape. No knicks, tears or bubbles. The price includes the road case... I will also send the channel jump cable made by a local custom cable shop called Rattlesnake cables in Missoula, Mt.

This bad ass rig is ready to go for the road or studio. Literally every detail is top shelf and lovingly thought out. Whoever gets this amp is a lucky duck.
