Deep Blue Delay is a natural sounding digital/analog delay, with the analog direct signal path. The Deep Blue Delay has about the same bandwidth as the classic tape echo units, and it can be used in front of an amplifier or in amplifier effects loops.

The delay is specially designed to work well with distorted tone, as this is the most critical application, where delays often fail. You can use the pedal before or after distortion. As such, it will work exceptionally well on clean sounds where requirements are less stringent, especially in terms of echo bandwidth and repeat formation. Its tone has been carefully tuned with a lot of attention to the first critical  reflection and how it repeats decay.

• Optimized for Distortion: Unlike many delays that become "mushy" with gain, the DBD is specifically tuned to work exceptionally well both before and after distortion.
• Natural Decay: It lacks noise reduction circuits, which allows the echo decay to sound as organic and natural as possible.
• Tuned Filtering: The echo signal has carefully tuned filtering to prevent interference even at extreme settings.

Controls & Specifications

• Level: Adjusts the mix of the delayed signal with your dry guitar tone.
• Delay: Sets the delay time from 25ms to 450ms.
• Repeat: Controls the number of echoes, ranging from a single repeat to infinite feedback.
• Power: Operates on a 9V battery or a standard 9V DC power supply (current draw is ~25–32mA).
• Bypass: Features true bypass switching to maintain signal integrity when the effect is off.
