Alesis QuadraSynth Plus Piano 1995

Second owner. Had for almost 10 years in a smoke free environment. Odor-free. Dry pitch and modulation wheels. Works flawlessly! Comes with a nice dual sided, bounded printed manual, with card stock front and back. As a synthesizer collector with about 50 synths, I'm slowly replacing keyboard versions with rack mount or desktop units, as I did with this, got an Alesis 4S+with slightly inferior sound samples compared to this QuadraSynth Plus Piano.

The Alesis QuadraSynth Plus Piano (released c. 1995) is a 76-key, 64-voice polyphonic synthesizer and master controller featuring 24MB of wave ROM, including a dedicated 8MB stereo grand piano sample. It upgraded the original QuadraSynth with improved piano sounds, expanded internal program banks (640 programs/500 mixes), and enhanced PCM CIA card expansion. Key Features & Specifications: Sound Engine: 64-voice polyphony, digital additive/subtractive sample playback. Memory: 24MB total ROM, with 8MB dedicated to a stereo grand piano. Expandability: PCMCIA card slot for adding sound banks (Quad Cards or RAM cards). Keyboard: 76 keys with velocity, release velocity, and aftertouch. Controls: 4 assignable control knobs (Quad Knobs) for real-time manipulation. Outputs: 4 audio outputs (two stereo pairs). Connectivity: ADAT Optical Digital interface, MIDI In/Out/Thru. Effects: Internal multieffects processor (reverb, chorus, flange, etc.), similar to the QuadraVerb 2. Improvements over Original QuadraSynth: Piano Sound: The major update was the 8MB stereo piano sample, which was described as significantly richer than the original. Storage: Added three extra preset banks (including General MIDI) and the ability to play sounds directly from a RAM card. Appearance: The unit features a grey finish, distinguishing it from the black original. The QuadraSynth Plus is highly regarded for its "bread & butter" sounds, such as strings, pads, and pianos, along with its capability as a powerful master controller.

Works perfect as in no issues, and looks great!
