Hi
I am the second owner. The guitar was purchased in 2025 from an older gentleman who was retired and selling off all his gear to go travel and live his best life. It was obvious he was not a guitar player, and he had many instruments, which he rarely (if ever) played. This Strat looks like he may have played it, but not much.
I am a drummer, but dabble in Mandolin and guitar. I though I might need an acoustic, and this appealed to me because of the playability of the neck. . . and the electronics. I am also downsizing, so am selling this.
Some of the reviews say this does not sound good acoustically. Granted, it is designed to be played through an amp, and it will never rival the tonality any of the mid-level manufacturer brands. . . but it is serviceable acoustically, and sounds great amplified or through a PA.
These pickups (to me) have a bright tone to them, so I'll bring up the bass and mids a little to make it sound a little warmer. I really like it, but it has years of life left in it. . . and it needs to be played.
These glossy finish guitars don't photograph well, but I will tell you this guitar is near-mint (I will "officially" list as "very good" as all interpretations of the grading scale are subjective). Only a couple "dings" neck is straight, low action, etc.
The sticker inside the guitar came off before I purchased, but since we know the general date of manufacturer, shoudl not matter much.
It was recently set up and inspected professionally by Grandon Westlund, a highly regarded Luthier here in Indianapolis.
This is a nice guitar.
Here are a few things I found when doing the research.

Important to note - During the first 30 days of listing (if it lasts that long) I will not have the "make an offer" active. If you are a serious buyer, please "message seller" and ask questions and/or provide rationale for any offer you might have.
Please understand: I am always open to discuss with a serious buyer, but have had way to many lowball offers on my listings over the years (I am sure you have also). I try to price it right on my first listing, but at times you, the buyer, might know more than me about what I am listing. It won't hurt my feelings. If I missed something, let's talk. I'm not one of those musicians who thinks they know everything about everything. . . .
Shipping:
Insured shipping only to a verified US address.
I don't try to make any profit on shipping/handling. I just want the gear to get to you safe. I use the Reverb shipping calculator to be as accurate as possible. I also will custom-make boxes at times to save costs at the buyers request. I try to use recycled boxes and packaging where possible. Your package might not look beautiful, but will be packed like a tank and I'll take all shipping precautions I can.
Thanks!
